Peek-a-boo

Mad's new favourite game is peek-a-boo. She does a few rounds herself and then signals for "more".....which means it's your turn!

PJ party

Friday night someone didn't want to sleep. So she joined Mom and Dad for a little party. We watched tv while she was allowed to pull dvds from the book shelves. That lasted for about 20 minutes and then it was back to bed!

Sail away with me

How to take a ride in a box. By Madeline...

First, you put your favourite stuffies in the box. Also include your favourite book - Daddy loves me.

Next, climb into the box and sit.

Remove the items once you are bored of them and stand up.

and then climb out of the box.

The end.

Halloween

I'm not sure how I only ended up with 4 pictures of Madeline on halloween. In 3 of them she's not even looking at the camera. Believe it or not, the picture above was the only picture I got where you can kinda see her costume! She was a puppy this year. She really liked that costume and carried it around the house for about a week prior to Halloween.
We had a great night....went to a little street party at the house down the road from us. There are about 10 little kiddies all around Madeline's age which is really nice. We got to meet a few new people from the neighbourhood.
After that, we came home and Aunt Katie and Uncle Lee came over for dinner and to help with the trick-or-treaters. It was actually a pretty quiet night - we probably only had about 20-25 kids come to our door. Waaaay less than last year. I guess I didn't need the 300+ pieces of candy I bought.

First Ponytail

Since I had the day off today, I decided Mads and I would have girly time. So I did her hair. This is her first ponytail. It's held in place using an orthodontic elastic band (....from my days of having braces. Yes, I've kept the elastics that long. No, it hasn't been used before). She reminds me of Pebbles (or was it bam bam) from the Flintstones.

Mr. Potato Head

Back in the summer I told you about a conference I went to in Chicago for women bloggers. While I was at the conference, I was given a number of freebies to try out from various companies. One of which was a Mr. Potato Head! I can't believe how long these things have been around. This had to be one of my favourite toys as a kid....who didn't love sticking the arm where the nose was supposed to go!?! Anyways, with all the new sparkly, electronic, lightup-musical toys that there are these days, I wasn't sure it Maddy would appreciate MPH as much as I do. But it appears Madeline and I share the same love for this plastic-spudded-shoe-man.

Did I mention she now gives everything kisses?
