No Heat!!

So last night we had a technician come to inspect our furnace. Since this is our first winter in this house we wanted to make sure everything looked okay. Turns out the furnace has rusted out and we need to replace it!! Grrrr. So they turned off our gas and we've been without heat since. Maddy is keeping warm in her cozy flannel pjs (wish I had some!) and we kicked daddy into the basement last night so that she could be warm in bed with me :) Hoping to have the heat back on tomorrow.

My (not so) grand blogging entrance

So. Here I am. Yes, it's 2008 and I'm only now jumping on the blogging bandwagon. I thought I was pretty tech-savvy but apparently I'm way behind the times. Blogging will be old news by '09. My Mom (mid-60's....hi momma Gail!) probably has a blog I don't know about. Anyhoo. Now, since I've become a stay at home Mom, I seem to have a bit more time on my hands and I thought I'd see what all the rage was about. Plus, since Madeline has many fans that don't always get to see her I thought this would be a fun way to keep people posted on what we're up to.
