Week in review

Places we visited: Leslie's baby shower, Pickle Barrel

People we saw: Uncle Matt, Aunt Jenny, Nana Gail, Grandma Linda, Aunt Katie

New things: First laugh when tickled (trying to film this!), 90 degree turn on the floor, new exersaucer to play in (still a bit too small for this), time in the jolly jumper (also too small), putting toys in my mouth

Favourite activity: still loooove sucking on some fingers.....also still loving the Baby Einstein DVD

Baby shower

Took a little trip to Utopia (Utopia = far) today to attend Leslie's baby shower. Leslie is Michael's cousin for those of you who don't know. We picked up Aunt Katie around 12:30 and made it to the shower at about 2:20 (fashionably late of course). We took the babe so that Michael could have some time to work/study. Was a lovely shower and it was great to see the family.

Here's a pic of Mad partying it up

Brunch with the family

Saturday we headed out to brunch with my sis Jenny and brother Matt. We headed to the family-friendly Pickle Barrel. They must have seen who was coming....cause they sat us in the VERY back (we were surrounded by nothing but walls). It was actually nice - no one to disturb us and we could change and feed Madeline without anyone knowing (is it wrong to change a diaper at a restaurant table?).
I would post pics....but someone forgot the camera. Just picture us all looking cute and well fed :) A little bit of shopping followed brunch.....the toy we bought for Mad was too big and we couldn't fit Jenny in the car. Thanks for taking her home Matt. Not sure what we would have done if you weren't there.....

Just for fun

Here's a couple of pics of bath time this week. I think she still questions bath time. There's no crying.....but then again there's not a lot of smiling either. hmmmm.....maybe it's because she wants a bigger tub!?!

Snug as a bug

This week the weather turned a bit colder, so it was time to put the stroller into "winter mode". Here's Maddy heading out for one of our walks around the neighbourhood.
